Software as Service to Allow Airlines to Sell Meals at the time of ticket Sale, creating another source of revenue for airlines. This business idea is Patent-Pending.

Business Summary: This is a Start-up Company (at concept Level) to create Software as Service, to allow Airlines to Publish, Meals for sale per Flight & Class with visual image of meals at the time of ticket booking. This would create another source of revenue for the Airlines and much greater options for meal purchase for passengers. I am at concept level and seeking start-up funding to implement this idea. As per National Air Traffic Controllers Association there are 750 Million People travelling by air per year in USA alone 

Product/Services: Software as Service (SaS) that would allow Airlines to publish meals for purchase at the time of ticket booking or till predetermined time (as feasible with airline so that they can delivery it). Airline can publish meals per flight & class as well as frequency. This creates another source of Revenue for Airlines. Airline would select Vendors that would prepare the ordered meals and deliver it to the aircraft for distribution. The revenues can be in excess of 75+ million even in worst case

Customer problem/Opportunity: How many times did we felt that we should have more options for meals in the flight. But to solve such a multifaceted problem requires heavy investment in IT to create software that would integrate with ticketing system and let the airline publish meals available for that flight. Then those meals need to be forwarded to vendor who can prepare and bring the food back to airline for distribution. This SaS would solve that problem

Target market: Commercial Airlines: There are currently no players in the market, and this could be Multi-Million dollars Business based on the number of travelers flying each day. Around 750 Million passengers travel by air in USA alone. The revenue can be anywhere between $ 375 million per year in best case scenario ((50% of 750 million passenger) to 75+ million in worst case scenario (10 % of 750 million passenger)

Customers: All the airline Passenger. An estimated of 750 million passengers travel by air in USA alone

Revenue/Business model: The Business Model is to collect Revenue per Transaction (Sale of Meal) as % or Flat $ rate as mutually workable. Airline will actually be selling/listing product/meal for sale. We are providing service and each time a service is used that would generate revenue. The revenue can be anywhere between $ 375 million per year in best case scenario ((50% of 750 million passenger) to 75+ million in worst case scenario (10 % of 750 million passenger)

Competitors: There are no players in the Market. No Competition
Competitive Advantage: The Business Idea is already Patent-Pending, also there are no players in the market, no competition.
